Interesting dental facts - did you know?

The tyrannosarus was the biggest meat eater and had teeth like tiny saws.

Dinosaur Teeth

Some dinosaurs were herbivores others were carnivores. The carnivores' teeth were different from the herbivore's teeth they had edges like tiny saws, so they could tear flesh. Tyrannosaurus was the biggest meat eater . Small meat eaters fed on other kinds of small animals, but tyrannosaurus fed on other dinosaurs.

Edmontosaurus was a plant eating dino .It had hundreds of teeth in a huge jaw, which helped it eat tough leaves and roots. It's teeth were all worn down by all the chewing, so new teeth were always growing!

Too smart for wisdom teeth

Prehistoric peoples known as hominids lived in groups and shared work and food. They wandered through the countryside gathering fruits, roots, nuts, berries, and seeds and hunting animals. These early people needed wisdom teeth in order to eat roots and berries. Today we no longer need wisdom teeth and many people do not even develop them.
