Mr Dhanoya graduated as a dental surgeon from Newcastle University in 1985.
He has been a Principal Dental Surgeon in NHS practice since 1986 and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer in The Restorative Department at Newcastle Dental Hospital since 1995. Mr Dhanoya has been a trainer in the Northern Vocational Training Scheme since 1991.
Mr Dhanoya also works as a dental surgeon at Osborne Dental, Jesmond , Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE2 3AH and at Stanley Dental 3 Front Street, Stanley, Co. Durham, DH9 0JE and at Tankerville Dental, 3 Tankerville Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
In addition to his NHS appointments he also runs a private practice with a particular interest in Implantology and Aesthetic Facial Surgery.
Mr Dhanoya is a member of Association of Dental Implantology (UK), American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry, British Dental Association, General Dental Practitioners Association, Sedation Teachers Group, Local Dental Committee and The British Dental Acupuncture Society. He has a particular interest in treating the nervous patient has presented courses in sedation training for the dental team. He also has an interest in the use of acupuncture in dental treatments and has been training dental surgeons in the use of Acupuncture in dentistry as part of their post - graduate continual education.
Mr Dhanoya is committed to an extensive personal continuing education programme to continually enhance and improve his surgical skills.
