Practice Manager

Welcome to Stanley Dental Practice.

I am the Practice manager at Stanley Dental and have lived in Stanley all my life! There is a real family atmosphere at Stanley Dental Practice and we have cared for the dental health of the families in Stanley and Derwentside for over 20 years. Mr Dhanoya became the Principal dentist in 1986 taking over from Mr Gordon Smales who had been the Principal Dentist since 1948.

I joined the practice shortly after Mr Dhanoya became Principal dentist and qualified as a dental nurse in 1995. I took a career break to look after my daughter and then returned to the practice. As Practice Manager – my main job is to make sure that all our patients are welcomed and well looked after and that we do our best to provide a gold standard of dental care.

I am really proud that we have recently become members of the BDA Good Practice Scheme. Each member of our dental team has made a personal commitment to the 10- point scheme. We also conducted a patient survey in May and received really positive feedback from our patients about the care they receive. All our patients said they would recommend the practice to their families and friends – and that’s a great commendation.
